This handsome fellow is Ransom. He was named after Ransom Stoddard who was the man who shot Liberty Valance. According to the song he was the bravest of them all. That is fitting because Ransom is the sole survivor from a litter found in Black Eagle. He's pretty certain he was saved because he is the most wonderful cat ever. All I know for sure is that he is very spoiled and very vocal. He walks around muttering to himself and will work himself into a full tantrum if he doesn't get what ever it is he wants. It can get a little loud around here since we are in the weaning process. Besides being loud and demanding he is very sweet and cuddly. He prefers to sleep on my neck or chest and gives me tons of kisses and love bites before he drifts off. He loves to play and run around with the other cats but he still has to come check in and rub all over my face every few minutes. Although Ransom thinks he is a big, independent, young man, the truth is he absolutely hates to be alone. He really hopes his forever home comes with a 4-legged brother, or two, and humans that agree he is the most wonderful cat ever. |
