Peaches ( Special Needs Kittie) - This is poor little Peaches. She was an owner turn in that we have helped in the past. She has a condition called stomatitis in which large pockets of pus are in their mouth and often times result in teeth being pulled. Many times this is an immune suppression issue however not always. Peaches was taken to Dr. Gilligan's and he stated she was drooling and had large pus pockets through out her mouth. He gave her a Depo Medro injection and she seems more comfortable however her mouth still looks very very bad. She is only 5 pounds and her fur is completely matted. I will have Katrina at Petco do her magic for this poor girl. If nothing else to shave her. I doubt this little one will be going anywhere but we can help her for the time she is with us. If anyone is looking for a special needs kitty where the need for medical attention is not a problem, (she will have to have injections on a regular monthly basis) please keep Peaches in mind. I would love for her to have her own family. Poor girl ...
