Cleats was found as a stray in Belt. He was malnourished and the vet has determined he is completely blind. Though he was an intact male, he is very friendly and extremely loving, so we think he had a family at one point. How did a blind, starving cat end up on his own at the brink of a cold snap that brought real-feel temps of -27? We will never know, but he is safe and warm now in a foster home, working on gaining weight, soaking up all the love possible from his foster mom, and looking for his last fur-ever home. Fun fact: This boy is polydactyl and has two extra toes on both his front feet (take a look at them in the videos below)!
The vet believes he is around two years old. His vet visit also revealed that he has a healing wound on his hind leg, had ear mites (currently being treated), and is FELV/FIV negative. He has also now been neutered!
Check out his videos below to see just how sweet this boy is and how thankful he is to be warm and safe!
