UPDATE 9.25.19: Bellissimo’s family saw our post and they were overjoyed to be re-united with their boy. We’ve encouraged them to keep him indoors so he won’t get lost again.
Bellissimo means beautiful in Italian. This neutered boy was found out in the Bootlegger Trail area. He has a cleft lip, so he has a very unusual look. Read here about cleft lip and palate in cats and kittens. Bellissimo doesn’t appear to have a lot of trouble with his facial difference. Here’s a video about a kitty with a more severe issue and how his people help him.
He’s very thin but we hope to get his weight up now that he has regular meals. He was someone’s pet at one time. He’s a very sweet and gentle boy. He enjoys being petted and loved. We believe he is about 2 years old.
