Bobbles

Meet Bobbles, an endearing gray kitten with a joyful spirit and a story that’s bound to tug at your heart. Rescued with his siblings from Fort Shaw at just 4 weeks old, Bobbles has since grown into a playful, sweet kitten ready to find his perfect forever home. Bobbles was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH),
a neurological condition often called “wobbly cat syndrome.” This developmental condition affects the cerebellum—the part of the brain that controls balance and coordination. While CH makes his movements a little wobbly, it doesn’t cause Bobbles any pain, and cats with CH often live full, happy lives.

Bobbles’ condition means he has a unique, endearing gait, and he may stumble or fall occasionally, but his determination to play, explore, and cuddle is just as strong as any kitten’s. For his safety, Bobbles will thrive in a home with carpet or rugs to help him get around without slipping. Because CH requires gentle handling, he’s best suited for a family without children under the age of six. He would flourish with a caregiver who is either familiar with “wobbly cats” or willing to learn how to give him the support he needs.

Bobbles’ ideal adopter will be someone who embraces his special needs, is ready to celebrate his small achievements, and understands that while he may wobble, his love and loyalty are as steady as they come. If you’re looking to bring home a kitten who is as unique as he is loving, Bobbles is ready to bring his joy and resilience into your life.
