Meet Calvin, a resilient gray tabby kitten who started life as a feral cat. Born into the wild, Calvin underwent a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program where he was fixed and had his ear notched before being released back outside with his mom. However, fate had other plans for Calvin, and he was later picked up and brought to the Great Falls Animal Shelter.
At the shelter, it was discovered that Calvin was ready for a different life—a life indoors where he would never have to face the dangers of the outdoors again. He’s now looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved, away from mean-spirited people, dogs, other cats, birds of prey, cars, hunger, and harsh winters.
Calvin has been adapting well to indoor life and the love and care that come with it. He has even learned to walk on a leash, showing just how eager he is to explore the world in a safe and controlled manner. Currently, Calvin is thriving in a loving foster home, but he dreams of finding his permanent family.
