Meet Oreo Cookie!
One of our volunteers was driving by the refinery. Oreo Cookie was trying to cross the 4 lane highway from the refinery to the parking lot across the street. She made it about halfway across highway , was scared and laid down in the middle of the road as people were dodging their vehicles around her. She eventually made it across to the parking lot. It took her Guardian Angel about 20 minutes to coax her as she went underneath a car and was curled up behind the tire. He was able to grab her and put her in his truck.
This is another reminder to not allow your cats to free roam. Thank you Jarid for helping Oreo Cookie! Without your help this may not have been a good outcome.
